͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌Hi John, it’s Wiley. I wanted to share a few thoughts from the first couple of days of this campaign to flip NC’s U.S. Senate seat.

Since we kicked off this campaign just a few days ago, I’ve been blown away by the support.

People from across the state have reached out to offer their words of encouragement, their grassroots contributions, and their kindness. From all parties too — Democrat, Republican, and Independent.

The message I keep hearing is that people are tired of politics, tired of the same old broken system, tired of turning on the news and hearing awful stories about costs going up, small businesses shutting down, and families struggling to make ends meet.

I get it, John. Some of the problems our state and country are facing feel so insurmountable that you can’t help but want to throw in the towel.

But we can’t. We have to stay motivated. Because change is possible. We can make a difference. I know it, I feel it in my bones.

Because as I meet North Carolinians, from the mountains to the beaches and everywhere in between, I meet people who love this state and want to see it reach its full potential.

My goal over the course of this campaign will be to reach voters across the state and convince them that we can make a difference. Now isn’t the time to tune out of politics — we need to tune in and get involved. That’s how we win.
