Every day, I hear from folks in the South Side of Chicago who are concerned about the direction this country is heading. Instead of trying to lower prices at the grocery store like promised, Trump is taking orders from an unelected billionaire.
Instead of the “booming economy” Trump promised, we’ve seen explosive trade wars that hurt small businesses, farmers, and everyday people.
Instead of the “government efficiency” Trump and Elon Musk have touted since day one, we’ve seen our federal institutions thrown into disarray.
Trump’s “Golden Age of America” has been nothing but chaos, corruption, and incompetence.
I won’t stand by while Donald Trump and his Republican allies put billionaires over working families, spread disinformation, and try to tear down the programs that serve the American people.
