Donald Trump — who has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy six times and left our economy in tatters by the end of his first term — showed his incompetence once again this week by flip-flopping on his tariffs after it crashed the stock market and threw American consumers and businesses into financial uncertainty.

I’m working with my colleagues in Congress to stop Trump’s horseplay that is jeopardizing our economy and the financial well-being of American families. Will you chip in any amount to my campaign before our mid-month deadline as we fight back against Trump’s tariffs and keep up the pressure on his administration?

You should also see what he said a few hours before reversing his course on the tariffs and causing the stocks to skyrocket — he said: “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!”

So it’s clear as day: Trump is playing games with our wallets and hard-earned money while he and his billionaire buddies profit off of the financial instability that has paralyzed working families and small businesses.
