The best part of this verse is the phrase “to everyone who believes.” That’s it - that’s all we have to do.
Salvation is ours and all Jesus asks of us is to believe in Him. Believe that He died for us and rose again. It’s that easy!
In His grace and loving kindness to us, He gives us eternal life and all we have to do is believe. He doesn’t ask us to check certain boxes or accomplish crazy tasks to be one of His children.
He loves all of us for nothing we’ve done, but simply because of who He is. Praise God for that!
