I hope that you are doing well. In light of recent events, we must be united as we move forward together towards a more perfect union. America is a great country but we still have progress to make in order to ensure the promise of our nation is available to all. I am committed to working with communities across the 39th District to make that happen.
In the last week our campaign has been busy giving back to our community. Below is an update on what our campaign has been up to over the past week.
39th District Pitching In and Giving Back I was honored this week to join the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and the Hanyang Global CEO Alumni, as they donated food and essential items to Milal Mission, who serve those with special needs and disabilities. I feel so much hope seeing the community come together to help one another.
Town Hall
For this week in our town hall series, I was joined by business owners across the 39th district. Sara Barnes Ramos of Liberty Painting and Restoration in Brea, Frank Stefano of Stefano's Golden Baked Hams in Yorba Linda, and John Hsu of STC Management in Rowland Heights joined us to discuss what our businesses are going through during the COVID-19 pandemic and what they are doing to safely reopen and operate in our communities.
As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, there are resources and information that can be helpful in staying safe, helping others, and getting help during these hard times. See our COVID-19 resource page to find out more.
Volunteer on Our Campaign During this national health crisis, we have made major changes to our campaign. Our volunteer efforts are now completely online. This allows volunteers to continue to help from their homes. You can sign up to volunteer by contacting Field Director, Taylor Zanazzi at [email protected].
As always, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Please stay safe and healthy. Though we are eager to start getting back to our lives, please don't forget to do your part in flattening the curve. Please remember to wear a face covering when in public, to protect our community and loved ones. We will come out of this crisis stronger and more united than ever.
