Hi John,
Congress just took another step towards gutting Medicaid. We need your voice—NOW.

The Senate and House have passed a final budget resolution that opens wide the door to devastating cuts to Medicaid that will harm millions of families across the country.
These cuts would be especially devastating for children and adults with disabilities. Medicaid pays for school social workers and psychologists and mental health services for school-aged children. Medicaid provides treatment for millions of people with opioid use disorder. Two-thirds of people living in nursing facilities rely on Medicaid to stay there. Millions of disabled people, some with complex needs, depend on Medicaid for services that allow them to live in their homes and communities instead of in costly and dangerous institutions. Medicaid allows direct care workers, predominantly women of color, to provide seniors and disabled people help with all aspects of daily living – bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, medication management – so that they can be safe at home and live with dignity. All of this and more is at risk. Now that the budget resolution has passed, Congress is writing the law that will actually cut Medicaid. We need to flood their phones and inboxes. Tell your Senators and Representative: NO CUTS TO MEDICAID.

Every single voice matters. They must know that Medicaid matters to millions and gutting the program is unacceptable. Let’s make some noise now!
