Governor Joins President, Wyoming Delegation and Governors at White House to Celebrate Unleashing American Energy Executive Orders
Governor Gordon was a guest at the White House this week as President Trump signed Executive Orders (EOs) that *will strengthen Wyoming’s energy industry* [ [link removed]- ].
“This is a great day for Wyoming coal,” Governor Gordon said. “These Executive Orders will be impactful for our state’s coal industry and will help ensure Wyoming coal is available to help meet our nation’s growing energy demand. I thank President Trump for his work in freeing our country from the unnecessarily burdensome regulations imposed on the coal industry by the Biden Administration.”

Speaking at the Wyoming Veterans Commission's first annual Veteran Service Symposium today in Casper, Governor Gordon recognized six outstanding service providers nominated by their peers to receive this year's Excellence in Veteran Services Award.
“Wyoming’s veterans and their families have made an unwavering commitment and sacrifice to protect the freedoms we hold dear in our state,” Governor Gordon said. “It is imperative that we honor and support these individuals as they return to civilian life. Achieving this mission requires a collective effort, especially now with so much uncertainty for future support.
Governor Gordon has made addressing veterans’ needs and the mental health challenges facing our veterans a priority during his administration. The Governor has led the "*Governor's Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families [ [link removed] ]*," a partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, to develop and implement statewide suicide prevention best practices for service members, veterans, and their families.
The Governor’s mental health road map includes the *Veterans Talking To Veterans [ [link removed] ] *program, gatherings that provide a safe and supportive environment where veterans can engage in trauma-informed coaching, emphasizing the vital role of community-driven support in the journey toward healing.

The second annual Wyoming Sportsperson Conservation Forum, hosted by Governor Mark Gordon alongside the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, will be held May 21 at the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois.
Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2024, this year’s forum *serves as a platform to discuss Wyoming’s most critical conservation issues* [ [link removed] ], while fostering a comprehensive exchange of ideas among the state’s leadership, stakeholders and conservation groups.
