Final Four Teams Give Back!

On April 6, 2025, Soldiers’ Angels had the honor of partnering with Final Four teams Florida Gators and Houston Cougars, along with students from Texas A&M, for a high-energy Service Project Event at the Henry B. González Convention Center.

Together, these incredible volunteers packed 475 hygiene kits, 80 care packages, and made 10 no-sew blankets—all to support Veterans and deployed Service Members. Participants also wrote heartfelt cards filled with gratitude and encouragement.

A huge thank you to San Antonio Sports for sponsoring this impactful event, and to the cheerleaders, mascots, and band members who brought their spirit and compassion to every task!

A Birthday to Remember—Thanks to You!

We recently received a touching message from deployed Service Member Robert that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

“I received two boxes last night and I am so thankful. One was filled with homemade baked goods from Angel Helen—cookies and a pan of Butterfinger brownies that were absolutely AMAZING. For a moment, I felt like I was sitting at home.

The second box completely shocked me—a whole birthday cake from Angel Nicholas! I wasn’t sure what it was at first, but inside a foam cooler was a chocolate Oreo birthday cake. I didn’t think it was even possible to get an actual cake all the way over here.

This deployment is probably the toughest thing I’ve ever done, and likely will do, and stuff like this truly helps. I’ll never be able to express how grateful I am.”

Huge thanks to Angel Helen, Angel Nicholas, Bake Me A Wish! (for the incredible birthday cake), and all of our Angel Volunteers who sent birthday cards. You brought joy, comfort, and a taste of home to a hero who needed it most.

You’re making a difference—one care package, cookie, and birthday surprise at a time.

Sinclair Day of Service: Giving Back in San Antonio

We were honored to welcome volunteers from Sinclair Broadcast Group to Soldiers’ Angels Headquarters in San Antonio for their Day of Service!

As part of their commitment to community impact, the Sinclair team jumped right in to help us support Service Members and Veterans by packing box lunches and assembling hygiene kits—essential items that will bring comfort and care to those who need it most.

Thank you to Sinclair for choosing to spend your day of service with us and for making a real difference in the lives of our heroes!

The Tuskegee Airmen: A Legacy of Excellence

Even in the face of racism, the Tuskegee Airmen became one of the most respected fighter groups of WWII—flying over 1,500 missions and never losing a single escorted bomber. Don’t know their story? You should. Watch our short video and get inspired by their legacy.

Shamrocks, Socks, and Smiles at the San Antonio VA

Angel Cathy and Angel Annette brought the luck of the Irish to Veterans last month at the San Antonio VA’s North Central Federal Clinic! In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, they served coffee and donuts, handed out festive items, and delivered Warm Feet for Warriors socks to 95 Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, and family members. Thank you, Angels, for spreading cheer—and warmth—from the heart!
