Election season is heating up, and now is the perfect time to get involved and help shape the future of our city.

One of the most critical races this year is for mayor. Our city is at a turning point, and there’s a lot on the line. That’s why it’s so important to get to know the candidates and understand where they stand. Join us on Monday, April 14 at 6:30 PM for our Young Dems Mayoral Forum at 15 W 36th St. This is a great chance to hear directly from the candidates and get your questions answered.

We’ll be the only Young Dems group making an endorsement in this race, so be sure your dues are paid to make your voice count in one of the most impactful decisions of the year.

Also, today until 3:30 PM, we’ll be out canvassing with Team Shahana and other Council Members, talking to voters about the issues and about the upcoming election. If you have a couple of hours to spare on this rainy day, come join us—we’d love to have you out there!

Then, on Wednesday, April 23, we’ll be holding our next General Body Meeting. We’ll talk about our current endorsements, consider new ones for Mayor, Comptroller, and Public Advocate, share ways you can get involved to help our candidates win, and discuss our vision for the road ahead.
