Sign the Petition: Peacefully protesting Tesla isn't a crime no matter what Elon Musk or Donald Trump say >>
John, we have the First Amendment right to protest against any person, company, or government that we disagree with – and no one, not even the President or his billionaire buddies, gets to take that away from us.
But right now, that’s exactly what the Trump Administration wants to do.
Thousands of Americans – outraged by Elon Musk’s attacks on our schools, our hospitals, and our Social Security – have peacefully protested at Tesla showrooms in recent weeks.
And how did President Trump respond? He called them “domestic terrorists” and threatened to make them “go through hell” – all because they dared to speak out. [1]
That’s NOT how our democracy should work. Every American has the right to speak out against Trump and Musk’s slash and burn campaign without fear of retaliation from the government.
Sign the petition: Peacefully protesting against Tesla – or any other person, company, or government – is NOT domestic terrorism. Denounce any attempt to arrest and imprison nonviolent activists now.
After Elon Musk spent nearly $300 million to get him elected, President Trump is trying to pay him back, even using the White House to promote Musk’s cars. [2]
And when people take offense to that, Trump’s response is to call them terrorists. That goes against everything we believe in as Americans
He’s putting the full force of the executive branch behind protecting his cronies – no matter how many of our fundamental rights he has to trample. We need to push back.
John, we can’t stay quiet now. Add your name if you agree: Protesting Tesla is not domestic terrorism >>
Thanks for all you do,
