Earlier this week, after passing over 800 new bills and the 2025 budget, Governor Moore and the Maryland General Assembly rang the bell at 12:00 AM to mark the end of the legislative session. We wanted to be sure you knew about the bills the Governor fought for to continue to create new paths to work, wages, and wealth in Maryland and to investing in Maryland's state public education, environment, and communities. Here are just a few:
Each of these bills are centered on making this Maryland’s decade – from supporting business growth to elevating apprenticeships, ensuring we have the best public schools in the country and building out the sectors of our economy we will stand to win. While Washington is chipping away at the government we know, Governor Moore is in Annapolis delivering results for Marylanders, creating a state that serves. John, this work is only possible with your support. Grassroots energy is what propelled Wes to the Government House in the first place, and it's what we will depend upon to keep our movement going. Throughout the summer, each of these bills will be sent to the Governor’s desk to be signed into law.
Thanks for all you do. — Team Wes Moore |
