 This week, Governor Walz celebrated two business expansion projects. On Thursday, Governor Walz joined leaders at Philips to celebrate their $31 million expansion in Plymouth. On Friday, Governor Walz broke ground on Sofidel's $200 million expansion in Duluth.
"From Plymouth to Duluth, companies across the world understand the value of doing business in Minnesota," said Governor Walz. "These investments are creating jobs and reinforcing Minnesota as a top place to live and work."
 Also on Friday, Governor Walz visited the 148th Fighter Wing to highlight the need for a new hangar. The Governor's 2025 Infrastructure Plan includes $3 million for the design phase of this project.
"Our 2025 Infrastructure Plan is focused on improving facilities to better serve those who serve us. That’s why I’m proposing $3 million to build a new hangar for our airmen at the 148th Fighter Wing," said Governor Walz.
