Legislators claim to want to "make the wealthy pay their fair share." But their tax proposals are disastrous for EVERYONE in Washington, not just the wealthy. Todd Myers lays out fifteen new taxes that would impact the whole state.
Since launching our petition to say NO to these new tax increases, we've seen incredible response and momentum. THANK YOU! There's still time to sign or share with friends and family before we submit our signatures to Governor Ferguson. He's already taken one stand against excessive taxation, and it's critical he knows that people are tired of the continued attacks on their budgets.
We need to build a strong, united message to send to Governor Ferguson and halt the unsustainable, unaffordable tax and spending plans in Olympia.
Paying workers to strike is a shortsighted policy with dire consequences. Senate Bill 5041 would allow striking workers to take unemployment insurance funds for 12 weeks.
