Hi friend, It’s Michael Bennet. I wanted to share with you that I’m running for Governor of Colorado. My parents raised me with the belief that we have a responsibility to build a better future for each other and our country. That belief has guided my career—from serving as a school superintendent to fighting for Colorado as your Senator. Together, we’ve made real progress: we expanded the Child Tax Credit, which cut childhood poverty nearly in half; we lowered prescription drug costs and ended surprise hospital bills; and in four years, we secured $12 billion in federal funding to improve Colorado’s infrastructure and support our communities. Unlike most Coloradans, Donald Trump does not believe in building opportunities for the next generation. He believes in taking a wrecking ball to our economy and democracy. While Trump pursues chaos, it is getting harder to live in Colorado. Housing, healthcare, and childcare cost too much. Our schools and businesses are struggling. Those of us who are parents worry that our kids will never be able to raise their own families here. We know our best solutions to these challenges will not come from Washington’s broken politics. Our best solutions will come from us. That’s why I’m running for Governor of Colorado. Colorado can be a beacon of hope—at a time when things seem at their darkest. Colorado can provide the vision and leadership our country so desperately needs. Working together, we can make healthcare, housing, and childcare more affordable. We can make it easier for entrepreneurs to start and grow small businesses. We can bring our education system into the 21st century and lead the fight against climate change. It’s here—in Colorado—that we can best fight Trump’s corruption while building a brighter future for our kids and grandkids. A future that focuses on all of us, not just the wealthy few.
Thank you for being part of this team. We can show America a better path forward and lead from right here in Colorado. Let’s get to work. Thank you, Michael Bennet |
