This administration is trying to cut hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funding for schools nationwide — not on my watch.
Yesterday, I filed my 13th lawsuit against the Trump administration to stop them from blocking $200 million in funding for California schools that had been previously awarded.

This time, the Trump administration is overstepping its authority by revoking hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funding issued to school districts nationwide to help recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Though the public health emergency has ended, our children face ongoing challenges in the aftermath. While the Biden administration previously extended schools’ ability to use these funds for things like after-school and summer learning programs, student mental health services, new classroom technology, and more, this administration is trying to rip it all away.
Once again, this president and his cabinet are breaking the law while throwing our schools into turmoil and jeopardizing the academic success of a generation of American children. As a father, I can’t let this happen.
I’m taking Trump to court over this illegal attempt to hurt California’s schools and students: if you’re with me in the fight, pitch in $5 or more today.
