Democracy is a two way street. We need leaders who will hold themselves accountable to the people they represent. That’s why, earlier this week, I held a Community Town Hall in Brooklyn.

The turnout was incredible.
I got some great questions from the audience about healthcare, housing, the cost of living crisis – and how we show up to defend our democracy during times like these.
Grassroots conversations like these are exactly how we chart our path forward. I’m holding more Town Halls in the months and weeks ahead, because New Yorkers need to know that they have an advocate in state government.
I need to hear from you too.
Can you take my short priorities survey, to let me know what issues are most important to you?
