Friend, I wanted to take this moment on the eve of the primary to recognize just how far we’ve come together.

Democrats from outside of Atlanta aren’t supposed to have a shot at winning statewide in Georgia — or at least that’s the conventional wisdom in Washington.

Well, we had a different idea. I committed to running a 159-county campaign because we’ve come too close to winning to give an inch to the Republican Party, not just in Atlanta, but in Columbus, Cairo, Thomasville, Macon, Savannah, Roswell.

I’ve met with farmers to talk about Tariffs Wars and Hurricane Michael relief, Democratic county committees to talk about rebuilding the party, and March For Our Lives activists to tackle gun violence.

That’s how we’ve built a grassroots donor base with supporters in 138 of Georgia’s 159 counties — the most of any campaign in this race.

It’s why we’ve earned the support of groups like Democracy for America, the National Women’s Political Caucus, and the Asian American Advocacy Fund, as well as dozens of legislators, faith leaders, and community activists across our state.
