The 8th annual symposium will feature leaders in the field who are successfully partnering across sectors to provide person-centered solutions to improve older adult mental health.
This year we will be addressing anxiety as one of the most predominate mental health conditions impacting older adults. Additionally, we will address topics such as supporting those who experienced a suicide loss, using the arts to enhance mental well-being, substance use, trauma informed care, and addressing loneliness and isolation.
Dan Harris, award winning journalist, best-selling author, and podcast host will be featured as the keynote speaker sharing his experience living with anxiety and having a panic attack during a live news broadcast.
