Donald Trump and the so-called Department of Government Efficiency are slashing critical funds and firing workers integral to maintaining our parks and public lands.

We’re all for rooting out real government waste and abuse, but Trump and DOGE’s mass layoffs of public servants who care for our public lands and help prevent wildfires is not the way to do it.

We’ve been talking with folks all across Colorado and know: You’re frustrated. And that’s why we’re fighting back.

John and his colleagues just got together to introduce the Protect Our Parks Act of 2025 and Save Our Forests Act of 2025 to restore workers illegally fired by DOGE and to keep our national parks and forests safe and available for all Americans.

Trump’s cuts will only make our public lands less safe and further damage Colorado’s economy.

So we’re calling on this grassroots team to stand with us: Please, will you sign our petition and call on Congress to support our bills reinstating these critical federal workers?
