Thank you to the hundreds of supporters who took the time to write in and share their thoughts with the campaign and with Nellie. Part of leadership is knowing when to listen, and that's exactly what we're doing.

It's clear that countless folks from around NJ-09 and the country are fired up and ready to organize, speak out, and fight back against Donald Trump and Elon Musk. That's what we heard from many of you in our survey from the other day.

Many of you stated your concern with executive overreach and Elon Musk's unchecked powers. We are too. We are fighting every day to hold this lawless and chaotic administration accountable.

The economy and defending Social Security and Medicare were top concerns as well. At a time when the administration should be focused on bringing costs down, they're engaging in dangerous trade wars that will only increase costs for families. All while threatening to gut Medicaid and Social Security.

The top concern was defending democracy. Nellie voted against the so-called SAVE Act because it will impose onerous restrictions on voting for millions of Americans — particularly women. It would also jeopardize the right to vote for every member of our military serving abroad. Nellie will always defend democracy and stand for safe and secure elections, the SAVE Act doesn't help with any of that.
