Encouraging Updates from WallBuilders
We want to share a few meaningful updates from Washington, D.C. that we hope will encourage you.

This past month, David Barton was honored to be invited to the White House to meet with the White House Faith Office and join other faith leaders in praying over President Trump. Additionally, just this past week David and Tim were invited to the White House as part of a team planning special faith focussed events for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
In a video shared on WallBuilders’ social media (watch it here<[link removed]>), David expressed his encouragement at seeing faith permeate all levels of government in Washington, D.C. He also had insightful meetings on faith-based initiatives and discussed upcoming policies that reflect pro-family, faith-rooted values.

We know many of you in the WallBuilders community are faithfully living out 1 Timothy 2:1-4, praying for our leaders and those in authority. We want you to know your prayers are impactful and making a difference, as we were reminded again from David’s recent trip.

Faith plays a critical role in the success of our nation. As John Adams said, “It is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue.”

Seeing faith upheld at the White House is a victory for the country as we work to preserve our Constitutional Republic.
David also had the honor of speaking to members of the State Department just last week on the history of foreign aid in the United States. The Trump administration is working to refocus the State Department on what matters most to the American people, and it’s encouraging to see this effort underway. David provided historical context on the issue, shared the founding fathers’ beliefs, and discussed how those ideas can inform the next steps we take as a country today.
