Hello John,

It seems there isn’t a day that goes by without a new revelation from the
Department of Government Efficiency, better known as DOGE, about some
outrageous abuse of taxpayer money.

Billions upon billions of dollars are wasted due to government waste, fraud,
and abuse.

As one of the largest federal expenditures at $1.8 trillion (almost a quarter
of the entire federal budget), health care programs are rife with waste and
have been for years.

We look forward to the Trump administration and Congress making some changes
to these programs to save taxpayers billions.

Here are just a few of the more outrageous examples:

* According to a report by the Paragon Health Institute, from 2015 through
2024, there were nearly $1.1 trillion in improper payments in the federal
Medicaid program.
* The Wall Street Journal recently reported that an analysis found that
taxpayers spent $4.3 billion covering the same Medicaid patients twice.
* There are an estimated 4 to 5 million improper enrollees in the Obamacare
exchanges, which cost taxpayers $15-$26 billion just in 2024 alone.
This is what happens when we allow the government to play a leading role in
the health care system — everything Washington does ends up costing more and
delivering less.

But reforming federal government health care programs to run more efficiently
is not enough.

We also need to take steps to reduce the federal government’s control of the
health care system.

Here’s what that means:

* Health care is too personal to let nameless, faceless Washington
bureaucrats make so many decisions for us.
* We should be empowering doctors, nurses, and health care innovators to
provide health care centered around patients, not giving the government greater
authority to manage and control our care.
That’s where the Personal Option comes in.

It’s the only health care reform proposal that funds patients, not the bloated
and rigged health care system. It represents a revolutionary shift in health
care by putting you — the patient — at the center of every decision.

Unlike one-size-fits-all government models, the Personal Option gives you more
choice, flexibility, and control over your health care needs. Imagine being
able to choose your doctor, customize your coverage, and access transparent
pricing — all designed to fit your unique lifestyle and budget.

The Personal Option strengthens the doctor-patient relationship by removing
red tape and fostering a system that values trust, accountability, and fairness.
It promotes competition, drives down costs, and ensures life-saving
medications are delivered faster and more affordably. Polls show that Americans
embrace the Personal Option and prefer it over big-government alternatives like
Medicare for All.

The Personal Option is more than just a plan — it’s a commitment to giving
every American the health care they deserve from the doctors they trust.

If that sounds like the direction you think U.S. health care should be going,
sign the petition and let Washington know you support a Personal Option
