Nigel Farage is working the system and the dark money machine is in full swing.

This week, it was revealed that Farage accepted £40,000 into his personal bank account from a firm helping the mega-wealthy avoid tax.

At the same time, a “think tank” promoting his party’s agenda is receiving major donations, setting up offices in the same building as Reform UK, and hiring staff to support their campaign.

Nigel Farage is taking advantage of the system to advance his own ambitions to become Prime Minister. If we’re going to stop him, we need your help.

Simply campaigning against him won’t be enough. To stop Farage, we need to close the loopholes he’s exploiting and fix the cracks in our democracy.


** Here’s how we’ll stop Farage:

1 – Fixing the broken electoral system. Under First Past the Post, a party can win two-thirds of seats with less than a third of the vote. That’s not ok for any political party but, with Farage’s party now leading in many polls, it’s downright dangerous. Proportional Representation would take away the FPTP ‘springboard’ that Farage wants to exploit.

2 – Eliminating dark money from politics. Farage is backed by wealthy donors, including those with foreign ties. Money is flowing into groups that boost his party - with little transparency. That’s not great for fair elections.

3 – Combatting disinformation. Farage is benefitting from a toxic mix of misleading headlines, algorithm-driven outrage, and coordinated online disinformation campaigns. These things fuel hatred, apathy, and division - undermining trust in politics to his personal gain.

Simply shouting from the sidelines won’t stop Farage. That’s why we’re focused on action: fixing the cracks in our system so he can no longer exploit them.

That includes building pressure in Parliament through the APPG on Electoral Reform - now one of the largest groups of MPs in Westminster. We’re already making huge progress, pushing the government to take electoral reform seriously and tighten the net on dark money.

But there’s no time to waste. If we don’t act now, it may be too late.
