Elon Musk on March 22 accused the Economic Freedom Fighters of inciting racial hatred. “Very few people know that there is a major political party in South Africa that is actively promoting white genocide,” he posted on his X platform.

The leader of that party, Julius Malema, led the singing of “Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer” at a March 21 rally to commemorate the anniversary of the 1960 Sharpeville Massacre, a seminal event in South Africa’s history.

The song was a call to action during the Apartheid era, and now the obviously racist lyrics have caught the attention of the world’s richest human, who was born in Pretoria and retains South African citizenship.

Congress Ought To Dismantle The Health Care Deep State

One senior Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer is reportedly trying to shield the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) from mass layoffs and budget cuts, according to a recent Politico expose. That’s a shame. If there’s any agency in Washington that deserves to be cut to the bone—or eliminated entirely—it’s CMMI.

CMMI—much like Obamacare, which created the agency—has consistently failed to deliver on its promises.

Sanctuary State For The Homeless

Not all of California’s homelessness problems can be blamed on poor public policy. But much of it is due to statutes and ordinances that have incentivized vagrancy. This should not be in dispute and should inform policymaking today and in the future.

But apparently some don’t see it that way.
