John, guess what time of year it is! It’s Democracy Summer Fellow time 🎉

Team Scanlon is a proud partner with Democracy Summer, a one-of-a-kind fellowship to teach high school and college students about organizing and Democratic campaigning. Every year, we look forward to having young folks on board to learn how campaigns work behind the scenes. We always say we end up learning just as much from them as they do from us, and let’s face it, right now we need their energy and hope as much as we ever have.

Fellows will work with our campaign learning operations and in-person organizing as well as attend virtual seminars, discussions, and workshops. Applications are open now to all young people of high school and college age, and the priority deadline to apply is Friday, April 25th. If you don’t know any young people who might want to apply, we still have a way for you to get involved! It costs us about $1k to support every student who becomes a fellow with us (and we usually take on a few!). Mary Gay wants to make sure we’re fully funded so these students can have everything they need to succeed.
