Dear Friend,

It’s an exciting time in Washington! Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of meeting with many Minnesotans who were in town.

Minnesota is home to some of our country’s most dynamic and innovative manufacturers. Early in the week, we hosted an “Invest in America” roundtable discussion with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and manufacturing leaders from across America, including Don Tomann, CEO of Ultra Machining Company in Monticello and Steve Gullickson, President and CEO of MGK in Chaska. During the roundtable, we discussed our work to bolster American manufacturing and the urgent need for Congress to continue the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

I had the chance to meet Suditya and Muskan, the winners of the 2024 Sixth District App Challenge! Their app, Tiny Thinkers, uses videos and quizzes to help children with autism boost their social and emotional skills. They were in town for the annual #HouseOfCode reception to meet with fellow app challenge developers from across the country and to celebrate their victory. Congratulations to you both!

Later, we had the opportunity to meet with St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce President Julie Lunning and business leaders from St. Cloud. As always, it was great to meet with them and thank them for all they do to support the St. Cloud business community.

After House votes concluded on Thursday, we had the chance to sit down for an interview with one of our favorite Minnesota radio hosts, Dan “The Ox” Ochsner, who was in town during his “Ox Across America” tour. It was great to catch up and discuss all the exciting things we are working on with President Trump and our congressional colleagues.

Finally, I was able to say hi to a couple from Minnesota who were in the middle of a tour of the U.S. Capitol! If you are planning a trip to Washington, D.C. this summer, please reach out to our office for more information on how we can help facilitate tours of our nation’s Capitol!

Sincerely,
