We know that these have been a busy two weeks, and we’re sure your inbox is full (like ours is), so we promise we will make this brief. Our democracy and our Constitution are under attack - but you didn’t need us to tell you that. In the largest middle-class tax increase in recent history, Trump singlehandedly imposed global tariffs and tanked the economy. But Country First was one of the first to mobilize against the tariffs, and now, after you all made your voices heard over the last 3 weeks, they have been paused. This should not just be a pause but a complete stop.

But a pause isn’t forever. We can’t let up - now is the time to demand that we respect and follow the Constitution and that the authority to impose tariffs (aka Taxes) go back to Congress. That’s why we mobilized hundreds to take part in yesterday’s Day of Action, and now we are encouraging you to keep making calls. Use this link to get access to the script and phone numbers, but find time this week to call your representatives to demand they sign onto the Tariff Discharge and Don Bacon’s Bill to reclaim tariff authority - AND ask what they are doing to make sure it passes.
