This Black Maternal Health Week, we’re putting the Speaker’s words into action. Will you join Speaker McClinton in demanding action to ensure Black mothers are met with care, dignity, and a system that puts moms and babies first?

Black women are nearly three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women. And the vast majority of those deaths are preventable.

Speaker McClinton and the Pennsylvania Black Maternal Health Caucus are fighting to change that by advancing legislation to expand access to pregnancy care, confront systemic racism in our healthcare system, and make sure moms have the support they need.
