Did you see the news, friend?
Donald Trump announced his plans to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization and with it the more than $400 million dollars we contribute annually.
This move — which is condemned by the public health community and The American Medical Association (AMA) — is a huge step backward in our global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is also a big blow to vital funding that is needed for clinical trials for vaccines and other research in the fight against deadly diseases.
Washington State Senate Republicans have shown the same disregard for public health – voting in unison against vaccines, and recently arguing in favor of exposing more people to COVID-19.
We want to hear directly from you: do you agree with medical and public health experts who are urging Donald Trump to reverse course? Take our poll and weigh-in today →
Thanks for taking action and making your voice heard on this important issue.
