After hearing from voices like yours about how important it is to protect
our elections, Governor Newsom issued two executive orders to do just
that, and now it's up to our state legislature to help ensure there’s
sufficient funding for in-person voting locations, universal vote by mail,
and a robust voter education program. This is critical, now more than
ever! Especially as the Republican Party is now actively trying to stop
California from moving forward.

The communities who have suffered the worst impacts of COVID-19 are the
same neighborhoods in which racism and white supremacy have had the
deepest repercussions. We must all work together to defend our democracy.
