No More Medicaid for Terrorist Watchlist Immigrants

According to the Trump administration, hundreds of immigrants with criminal or terrorist records received taxpayer-funded benefits like Medicaid, unemployment insurance, and federal student loans under Joe Biden. That is about to change.

Washington’s new leadership has begun sending termination notices to the droves of foreigners who entered the U.S. through Biden’s parole program, which reportedly included over 6,000 individuals with a history of crime or their names on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center watchlist. It qualified them to receive those aforementioned perks.

“Among the 6.3k paroled aliens with criminal or terrorist records, 905 were collecting Medicaid (including 4 on the terrorist watch list). $276,000 was paid out,” a White House official reportedly disclosed. “41 were collecting Unemployment Insurance, receiving $42,000 in benefits. 22 received federal student loans totaling $280,000.” Read more.

Democrats Keep Fighting for Illegal Immigrant Voting Rights

The Democrat Party continued fighting to protect its ability to cheat in elections on Thursday as hundreds of its politicians voted against legislation to crack down on noncitizen voting.

The bill, the SAVE Act, would require proof of citizenship for voter registrations. The House passed it despite the Left’s undemocratic opposition. It now heads to the Senate, where it will need 60 votes for advancement.

Liberal Senator Alex Padilla sang his party’s favorite propaganda tune after the House’s vote, painting efforts to protect election integrity as “voter suppression.”

“What Republicans are doing is once again demonizing immigrants for the sake of making it harder for eligible citizens to register to vote and to cast their ballots in elections,” the lawmaker said with a straight face. “It’s voter suppression in disguise, not so much of a disguise.”

Why would Democrats oppose a bill like the SAVE Act unless they wanted illegal immigrants to vote? Read more.

RFK Jr. Vows to Crack the Autism Code by September

“Autism has become an epidemic.”

That’s a direct quote from Donald Trump during a 2015 Republican primary debate. It was spot on then, and it’s more true today. According to the CDC, one in 36 American children are on the autism spectrum. That’s a big increase from 2021, when it was one in 41, and a massive jump from 2006 when cases existed in less than 1% of the country’s youth.

How is this happening? The establishment will label you a conspiracy theorist if you guess it might have something to do with vaccines, but the crisis’ startling figures should encourage inquisition, not shut it down like they want. The public deserves to know what on earth is going on.

RFK Jr. is hunting for the truth. He announced during Thursday’s cabinet meeting that his HHS department is on track to “know what has caused the autism epidemic” by September, which he said will enable it to “eliminate those exposures” and finally get the crisis under control.

“There will be no bigger news conference than that … If you can come up with that answer,” the president replied. That’s for sure. Read more.

Your Tax Dollars Are Still Funding “Transgender Voice Training”

When you think of how you want the government to spend your money, what comes to mind?

Infrastructure, education, and law enforcement are probably somewhere near the top of the list, surrounded by plenty of other righteous and legitimate programs your conscience feels completely clear about funding.

We don’t condone reckless gambling, but we’d bet a lot of money that the apparent pressing need to subsidize transgender voice training is not on your radar. But congratulations. That’s what you’re doing.

Despite the Trump administration’s efforts to clean up government waste, a taxpayer-funded research project aimed at conquering transgender voice dysphoria is alive and well. The government is slated to dump over $210,000 into the initiative in fiscal year 2025. We hope you can rest easy knowing you’re supporting such a vitally important cause. Read more.

Jasmine Crockett Is Under Investigation

One of our favorite entertainment sources, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, made headlines last month by labeling Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels.” Could he soon be able to hit back by calling her “Representative Orange Jump Suit”?

The Federal Election Commission is actively investigating Crockett regarding potentially fraudulent donations to her 2024 congressional campaign. The campaign received $870,000 in contributions, an untold number of which reportedly came from unsuspecting people who did not deliberately provide any funds.

One specific donor, a 73-year-old Texas man, is said to have made $16,000 worth of donations despite his wife having no knowledge of the gifts. Crockett could face an imminent deadline to respond to the allegations. Read more.

Sorry, China. Australia Will Not Help You Fight Trump’s Tariffs.

Australia rejected China’s plea to help combat Donald Trump’s tariffs on Wednesday, pledging not “to make common cause” with the far-Eastern communists.

"We’re not about to make common cause with China," Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles said during a Sky News interview. "We are not going to be holding hands with China in respect of any contest that is going on in the world."

While siding with the United States, or at least not explicitly standing with China, may seem like an obvious choice, the Aussies have ample reason to stay on Beijing’s good side. The Chinese buy nearly a third of Australia’s total exports, giving the CCP the ability to cripple the island nation’s economy if it so chooses. The U.S. makes up less than 10%. Read more.

Trump Ends the War on Water Pressure

Aspiring home buyers tend to look for a few key things when touring available properties. Closet space. Outdoor seating. Natural light. And if they’re smart, showerhead water pressure.

Think about how important that is. No one wants to get home after a long day at work, hop in the shower to quickly clean off, then face the disaster of their shower drip, drip, dripping down on them with the force of a flaccid fountain, not the soothing firehose they want and deserve. There’s nothing worse.

Thanks to Obama-Biden water pressure regulations, untold numbers of Americans have faced that hallowing reality over the past decade. But no more. Donald Trump took a major step toward ending the Democrats’ war on showers on Wednesday, signing an executive order to eliminate those freedom-crushing rules. Get ready for some good flow. Read more.

WELCOME TO NEW YORK: NYC Subway Rider Does the Unthinkable to a Corpse

New York police are searching for a man caught on camera performing sex acts on a corpse while riding the city subway.

The investigation reportedly began on Wednesday when authorities found the dead body, a man, situated on a train at Manhattan’s Whitehall Station. They discovered footage of the heinous acts upon reviewing MTA subway cameras.

Sources say the suspect, who remains at large, performed or tried to perform various sex acts on the body. He waited for moments when the train car was empty to pursue his attack.

It’s hard to think of a scenario that would elicit less confidence in New York’s public transportation system. The thought of encountering a dead body when you’re trying to take your kids to a Yankees game is scary enough, let alone knowing you could be sharing a car with someone who wants to get it on with it. It’s horrifying, really.

Commentary

The U.S. Is Terribly Reliant on China. Tariffs Could Help.

It’s impossible to be certain if Donald Trump’s tariff plan will prove successful. We can’t pretend to know what the future holds.

What we are sure of, however, is that the motives behind the policy are sound. If implemented properly, these import taxes could help the United States in three core ways.

First and most obviously, the tariff can drive job creation. Manufacturing companies spent decades tragically fleeing America’s shores, and in a way, it’s hard to blame them. A business's primary responsibility is to turn as high a profit as possible. Thanks to D.C. globalists, the formula for doing so has almost always included the offshoring of blue-collar workers. Tariffs can help change that by giving companies a financial incentive to make their products here.

Second, it can help stop the “international community’s” storied practice of ripping off the United States. As the White House has repeatedly pointed out, America’s leaders have allowed our country to maintain unhealthy trade relationships with much of the rest of the world. Simply put, the U.S. has had to pay more to trade with its partners than they have to trade with us. That’s unjustifiable, and the use of tariffs as a bargaining chip can help the president secure better deals.

Lastly, it could reduce America’s crippling dependence on China. The media has discussed this point the least of the three, but it’s probably the most important.

Despite all the neocon lust for a war with Iran, a potential struggle with the Chinese remains a far more pressing threat. It’s no secret that Beijing wants to replace the U.S. as the world’s most dominant power, and Thursday’s Senate testimony that its military is ramping up “rehearsals” for a Taiwan offensive reminds us that an armed conflict could be its vessel for doing so. Whether we like it or not, such an act would doubtlessly spark calls from both sides of Washington’s political aisle to declare war on China. Everyone would be in complete lockstep.

How would things unfold next? America’s massive population deficit would immediately hamstring its efforts, and the fact that China currently outpaces the U.S. in the production of jets, ships, and weapons wouldn’t help either. But those are battlefield issues. Our economic dependence could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

To pick one example of many, China supplies roughly 75% of American cell phone imports. It is also responsible for a substantial chunk of the minerals essential for U.S. technology and defense, providing 75% of our graphite imports, 51% of magnesium, and 62% of rare earth minerals, according to Barron’s.

The harsh reality is that the U.S. needs China far more than China needs the U.S. Our trade deficit nearing $300 billion makes that clear, and it gives the Chinese the ability to cripple our economy with the snap of a finger. Imagine what Xi Jinping could do to America if he wanted. Our profound dependence could enable him to bring the country’s leadership to its knees.

That fact pattern, paired with the very real threat of an eventual war with the Chinese, is an obvious formula for disaster. Too much dependence on anybody is unhealthy, let alone your most powerful adversary. Donald Trump’s tariff battle putting the cards back in America’s hands would be as large of an economic and national security victory as any. It could prove to be the most significant consequence of his entire presidency.

Daring passenger sticks legs outside car while zooming down the highway.

This Day in History

April 11, 1912: The Titanic sets sail for New York. The “unsinkable ship” began its maiden voyage in Southampton, England, the day before, then proceeded to Cherbourg, France, and Queenstown, Ireland, to pick up more passengers. New York was supposed to be its next stop. Barely over 30% of the souls on board made it to America.
