Lane closures for Maid Marian Way works
Maid Marian Way

The project in Maid Marian Way continues to progress well – thank you for your continued patience. Works to be aware of during the Easter holidays:

* Until Sunday 13 April, a lane will close to traffic on Mount Street for kerbing works
* From Monday 14 April to Friday 18 April, variable lane closures on Maid Marian Way or Upper Parliament Street will take place to allow for kerbing works, with only one lane out of action at a time.

While our road network should be less busy during the Easter holidays, please allow more time for your journey through the area. You can read more about the project here [ [link removed] ]

QMC roundabout weekend closure

National Highways have announced details of a closure of the QMC roundabout between Friday 11 April and Monday 14 April:

👷 We’ll soon be re-waterproofing the bridge deck on the A52 at QMC roundabout, Nottingham.

🚧 Due to the nature of the work we need a full weekend closure from 8pm on Friday 11 April to 6am on Monday 14 April, but unlike our previous weekend closures we’ll be able to keep more routes open, reducing disruption.

⛔ We only need to close the northern section of roundabout, between the northbound entry slip road and southbound exit slip road for Middleton Boulevard.

✔️ Middleton Boulevard will remain open as will its northbound entry slip road and the A52 Derby Road between the Priory and QMC roundabouts.

🗺️ Traffic will be diverted via Middleton Boulevard to Crown Island where it can turn around and head back to the QMC roundabout.

🚗🚛🏍️ We expect this route to be busy so please make sure you plan ahead, check your route before travelling and allow extra time for your journey.
