GOP LAWSUIT AGAINST HORN ET AL CONTINUES. NEW CHAIR TRIES TO WEASEL WAY OUT OF ACCOUNTABILITY FOR COSTING PARTY $100,000. The first communication from the “unity” Chair, Brita Horn to Colorado Republicans is a blatant attempt to evade being held accountable for costing the Party $100,000 plus. Horn mistakenly thinks being Chair means she can wave a “magic wand” and make an ongoing lawsuit against her and the others who illegally tried to overthrow previous chair Dave Williams just disappear. Nope. Defending against the coup attempt cost the Party $100,000 and the lawsuit demands repayment. Even worse, Horn ignored a court ordered deadline to respond which means a default judgement could put her on the hook for the full amount owed. Meanwhile, the Anti Corruption Investigative Committee - legally established by the GOP State Executive Committee - continues its work to hold the coupsters accountable. DEALING WITH THE DEVIL. RINO QUEEN SEN. BARB KIRKMEYER CUTS DEAL WITH DEMS TO KILL GRASSROOTS EFFORTS TO OPT OUT OF DISASTROUS OPEN PRIMARY. Sen. Kirkmeyer traded her support for the Democrats’ controversial bill regarding vacancies in elected offices in exchange for allowing her to insert a clause that would make it virtually impossible to opt out of open primaries. The UniParty is terrified of the growing support for returning to a system where you have to be a Republican to vote in a Republican primary. Kirkmeyer’s clause is the first of a three-pronged Establishment attack on the opt out this week. New Chair Brita Horn did a 180 and wrote an editorial in the Denver Post supporting the open primary. That was followed by perennial RINO Dick Wadhams’ editorial in the Anschutz industrial media complex also supporting the open primary and calling for Horn to drop out of the lawsuit challenging its constitutionality.
