Hi Friend! Can you believe that we are already in April? Easter is just around the corner and Mother’s Day will be here before we know it! We thought now might be a good time to pop into your inbox and let you know what’s been happening around here.

As always, we also want to remind you how much your support is helping vulnerable babies and children thrive – THANK YOU for being such an important part of Our Village!

You would have heard from us a few weeks ago with our First 2000 Days appeal. We really wanted to highlight how important the first 2000 days of a child’s life are. Research shows that if there is economic, psychological and/or physical distress within those first 2000 days, the ability for a child to thrive is threatened.

That’s why making sure vulnerable babies have warm clothes and a safe place to sleep and travel is so vital. Your response and generosity meant we raised enough money to give 91 babies a clothing bundle – keeping them warm all year. Amazing!

You are making a real difference ...

We were so pleased to be able to support this young, single Mum who has a newborn baby and also a two year old. With our partners, The Salvation Army, and thanks to YOU, our amazing supporters, we were able to gift her formula, nappies, wipes, a bassinet linen pack and two beautiful bundles of clothes for her premature newborn so her new little girl will have lots of clothes to grow in to. It takes a village to raise a child. Thank you for being part of Our Village and supporting parents in our community who don't have their own village.

Friends of Our Village: The Amazing Baby Company

We're thrilled to continue our partnership with The Amazing Baby Company who generously donate five brand new prams to Our Village every month for vulnerable babies and children. They also provide spare parts when we need them so we can continue to repair and rehome as many pre-loved prams as possible.

The Amazing Baby Company have been supporting Our Village since 2010 and have contributed more than $240K in value. Shout out and thanks to The Amazing Baby Company – a very special part of Our Village!

The numbers are in and we are thrilled with the impact Our Village made in our communities for the month of March – here are some of the highlights. Of course – we couldn’t have done it without you.
