Fellow Supporter, I’m so sorry to email you like this, but Friday at midnight is the cutoff to respond, and your response was just flagged for me as [MISSING] from our database! If we don’t raise at least $38,685.48 by April 10th, there will be over 100 widows and orphaned children who don’t have the privilege of enjoying a Kosher Passover Seder. The holiday begins on Saturday evening. So far, only 99 have responded…which means we’re just waiting on YOU! Passover is a time when we reflect on the power of God's love and compassion. In fact, Jews around the world read the Haggadah at their Seder, a book used to explain the passages from the book of Exodus which contains a famous line:
These widows and orphaned children are suffering from poverty, hunger, grief, trauma and other hardships at a rate much greater than the rest of the population. It makes it extra hard to celebrate this joyous festival of our freedom with their husbands and fathers absent. Will you open your hearts to feed these widows and orphans during Passover? Our team looks forward to hearing from you as we attempt to ensure those in need have the opportunity to celebrate the Passover holiday that begins this weekend. Even under the toughest of conditions during this war, these widows and orphans, like most Israelis, are not caving to the pressure of their enemies. They’re fighting for survival in the Holy land just like their ancestors since the time Pharaoh chased the Israelites out of Egypt. Thank you, Jonathan Feldstein
