John,

I’m running for Congress because we need a new generation of Democrats to step up if we want to get anything done in Washington. We can’t keep sending the same people back and expecting a different result.

Donald Trump and his administration are dismantling our government for their own benefit — and our congressman is nowhere to be found.

The system is broken, John — and I have a bold, commonsense three-point pledge to fix Congress and make our government work for us, not for the mega-donors or career politicians who have overstayed their welcome.

Here is my three-point pledge:

1. We need term limits. 5 terms, 10 years for members of Congress — that’s it. No more lifelong, career politicians that only support the broken system that got us to where we are now.
2. We should hold a town hall in the district every month. If voters are going to trust you to take on their fights in Congress, then you need to show up, hear from them face to face, and connect with them on the real issues.
3. We cannot accept corporate PAC money. The impact of corporate money in our campaign finance system is tremendous; voters' voices are drowned out by mega-corporations buying support from politicians. The system is rigged against hard-working families, and the career politicians in D.C. have let it get this way.

John, we all deserve better. That’s why I’m running for Congress — to demand change and show the old guard in Washington that voters are tired of being left behind.

I’m hoping you will support me in this fight. Can you add your name in support of my three-point pledge? Show that you stand with me in the fight to fix our government and make it work for people like you and me. [[link removed]]

Thanks for joining me in this fight. The more voices we have in support of this plan, the greater our impact and the better our chances of making real change.
