John,

We’re fast approaching the 10th anniversary of marriage equality, and our team has a number of exciting events and activations planned to help all of us mark this special milestone. One way we’re doing this is by asking couples to share photos of their family – from when they met to today, and big moments in between like buying their first home, celebrating marriage equality, having kids, or anything else that feels right.

If you’re a part of a queer couple and want to celebrate your love with us, take 2 minutes today to share your “Then & Now” photos that are special to you, and we’ll share them far and wide. Please forward this along to any friends that might be interested in sharing, too!

I know it has been a deeply challenging time for LGBTQ+ equality – at every level of government. And we can also draw helpful lessons and hope from our community’s past victories. The tenth anniversary of the marriage victory can be a powerful reminder: that people can change their hearts and minds, communities can change, laws can change, and ultimately, our nation can change.

Help us mark this special milestone by sharing photos of your love story, and with your permission, we’ll share these far and wide to help communities see what the journey to marriage equality looked like for so many LGBTQ+ people in America.

Thank you so much for being on our team, and for all you do to make our country a better, more equal place for all LGBTQ+ people. Whether you’ve been with the Campaign for Southern Equality since the We Do campaign or you’ve joined us more recently, you own a piece of these wins, losses, and everything in between.

Thank you,
Adam Polaski
