I want to speak to you plainly about the choice we all face at the upcoming Federal Election.

You face a clear and urgent choice: more of Labor’s failures, their lies and broken promises or a Coalition plan to get our country back on track.
 
After just three years of Anthony Albanese, Australia is seeing the biggest fall in living standards in the developed world.
 
This isn’t the lived experience from other countries. The Reserve Bank has confirmed that the persistent inflation we have experienced here is homegrown - a direct result of Labor’s bad decisions, record spending and broken promises.
 
On every core metric, Labor has failed.

• Interest rates up 12 times.
• Inflation still higher than in other advanced economies.
• Power bills, fuel, food and insurance through the roof.
• Housing further out of reach for everyday Australians.
• Our country is less safe.
• And a Prime Minister who is simply not up to the job.

What’s worse is that they keep lying to you about it, it’s always somebody elses fault with this lot.
 
Remember the promise that they repeated over and over before the last election – that your power bills would be $275 a year cheaper under Labor? People are now paying thousands a year more thanks to Labor. 
 
Just a few days ago, Albanese fell off the stage at an event – plenty of cameras in the room caught it, instead of being upfront about it he then went on radio and bizarrely lied about it, saying it never happened.

He can’t help himself. He’s so used to lying now that he doesn’t know how to tell the truth. That’s not what you want in a leader.
 
That moment sums up this government. Unstable, out of touch and unwilling to face the truth.
 
There is a better way forward.
