John,
The new U.S. Administration just eliminated the CDC's Office of Smoking and Health and slashed staff at the FDA's Center for Tobacco Products. We have to sound the alarm – now.
Tell Congress to fight for programs that protect kids from tobacco and e-cigarette addiction: [link removed]
These programs are on the front lines in protecting kids and saving lives from tobacco, and they save money by reducing tobacco-related health care costs. Unless Congress acts to defend them, more kids will become addicted and more Americans will die from tobacco use.
We can’t let up in fighting tobacco use. It remains the leading cause of preventable death in our country, and tobacco companies are addicting kids with candy-flavored, nicotine-loaded products like e-cigarettes.
Help us send this message loud and clear today.
