Republicans continue to show us their true colors. This morning, the House GOP hastily passed Trump’s budget that will cut Medicaid by $880 BILLION over the next decade.

Instead of protecting millions of Americans and their health, House Republicans are more concerned with protecting tax breaks for corporations and their billionaire donors like Elon Musk.

The devastation of cutting Medicaid by nearly a trillion dollars cannot be overstated. Thousands of my constituents and millions of seniors, children, and families nationwide will have lifesaving care ripped away from them.

I’m sickened at the thought of hardworking Americans suffering because of this cruel bill. It’s not right, and I refuse to stand idly by while Republicans continue to pull the rug out from under the entire country.

It’s not just Medicaid at stake – the budget slashes food assistance programs like SNAP by $230 BILLION. Republicans would rather have Americans go hungry so billionaires and corporations in their corner can line their pockets.

I’m using my role on the Appropriations Committee to push back and call out these attacks in Congress and across the media. I’m also working to protect vital programs while mobilizing grassroots support to flip the House and stop this appalling cruelty.

It becomes more clear by the hour that the only way we can hold this administration accountable for dismantling our democracy is to win the House majority next year. Please consider chipping in $3 to protect critical seats like mine.
