Hi there John,
I just met with Coach Steve Kerr, who you may know as the leader of the Golden State Warriors, but he is also such a fierce advocate for gun violence prevention. We spoke for hours about his passion for the movement to prevent gun violence and particularly, all of YOU.
Like many of the people who lead at Brady, Steve Kerr is a gun violence survivor. His father was shot and killed when Steve was just 19 years old. He knows firsthand what it’s like to lose a loved one to this uniquely American epidemic and it’s one of the reasons he’s remained an outspoken public figure on the issue.

Unfortunately, we still find ourselves asking this same question, years later. And now, with gun lobby-backed politicians in Congress, led by NRA-darling Donald Trump, the path toward life-saving action is harder, but far from impossible. We just need to fight harder and this time, we know Trump’s tricks.
Coach’s passion is more present than ever: I could feel it in every word he spoke about the work Brady is doing across the country to save lives from gun violence and to protect gun laws from an administration that fundamentally misunderstands the reach of the Second Amendment.
