It’s an honor to serve as your governor and to work hard every day on issues that are important to you.

Since taking office, I’ve signed new laws to strengthen gun safety, protect women’s reproductive healthcare rights, and lower our carbon footprint — and we passed the largest tax cuts in the state’s history.

Last month we protected the University of Hawaii from federal cuts, helped federal workers affected by layoffs, and began providing compensation for those who lost the most in the Maui wildfires.

I will keep working every day to reduce homelessness, build new housing, and make Hawaii more affordable for our people.
