The House just passed the so-called SAVE Act — which would make it much harder for millions of Americans to vote.

This is a setback, but the fight isn’t over yet. Now, the bill will move to the Senate, and we need to put pressure on our Senators to act to stop it in its tracks. >> [link removed]

What’s the big deal? The SAVE Act is a voter suppression bill, pure and simple. It would require voters to produce — in person to their election official — documents to prove their US citizenship. That would make it significantly harder, if not outright impossible, for millions of eligible voters to register or stay registered and have their voices heard.
