Her Bold Move is the fastest-growing support network for women running for political office in the United States! Since our founding in 2020, we’ve supported hundreds of pro-women women candidates across 42 states and counting. We’re focused on getting more women into the rooms where abortion bans are being written by rooms full of men.

In states across the country, majority-male GOP legislatures (led by male GOP governors) are passing laws that infringe upon women’s health, safety, and rights to bodily autonomy. As abortion bans and other dangerous laws about women get passed in states with the lowest numbers of women in government (11% - West Virginia, 14% - South Carolina, 15% - Tennessee....), we’re breaking the male supermajorities in those state legislatures.

We’ve heard the way Trump and his coalition talk about women. Starting with phrases like “grab her by the pu**y” and, most recently, referring to any accomplished woman in power as a “DEI hire.” We’re bracing ourselves for what these ideologies will look like as policies – and understand that, in many ways, we’re already seeing a backslide for women’s progress in America.

Many of our mothers and grandmothers remember living in a time when women couldn't open their own credit cards (1974) or apply for high-paying jobs. It’s only been about 100 years since women won the right to vote. It is our responsibility to defend that hard-fought progress on behalf of our mothers, our grandmothers, our daughters, and our friends.
We are writing today because we have a plan for ensuring pro-women legislation prevails.
Passing pro-women legislation is dependent on women being IN THE ROOMS where decisions about our lives, our health, and our bodies are being made.

At Her Bold Move, we have a blueprint for defending the world-changing progress of the women who came before us. It will take continued work, determination, and, most importantly, fierce support for the brave women who run for political office at ALL levels in our country.
