Yesterday, the Department of Homeland Security announced it will
surveil the social media of immigrants for “evidence of antisemitic
activity,” which they could use to deny immigration
status.1
We see through Trump’s cruel agenda: using Jewish pain and
fear as an excuse to attack political opponents and end free
speech.
We’re asking every member of Congress to take action right now to
speak out against this dangerous and undemocratic policy.

Congress: Jews reject Trump’s immigrant speech ban.
Trump is once again using antisemitism (real, exaggerated, or
imagined) as a smokescreen to distract from his
fascist agenda.2
Immigrants and activists have been snatched without due process for
exercising their right to free speech, including about Israel and
Palestine. This new policy could now threaten any immigrant in the
United States for posting on social media.
This White House — whose officials regularly use and fuel
antisemitism — doesn’t speak for Jews. We speak for ourselves. And we
say, again and again, immigrant justice is a Jewish value and
a strong democracy is what keeps Jews safe.
