The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Citslinc International, Inc. to offer Chamber members, and the community, a unique opportunity to travel to Japan from

November 1-8 with fellow business colleagues and community members.

Travelers will visit famous sites, learn about the Japanese culture and enjoy a multitude of unforgettable experiences. In addition to visiting memorable cities including Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto, travelers will visit the UNESCO Heritage Site Skinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Kiyomize-dera (signature world heritage site with over 1,200 years of history), and the world-renowed Mount Fiji.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1 - Baltimore (BWI)/Osaka

• Check in at Baltimore/Washington International Airport for a connecting flight to Osaka.
• ​Overnight flight.

Day 2 - Osaka

• After a connecting flight you will arrive at Osaka.
• You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 3 - Osaka/Nara/Kyoto

• Start with a full day city tour to explore the Osaka Castle Garden and visit the famous Shinsaibashi Shopping Area.
• Take an afternoon bus to Nara Deer Park then transfer to Kyoto to visit Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Day 4 - Osaka/Nara/Kyoto

Full day city tour including:

• Two UNESCO Heritage Sites Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Kiyomizo-dera
• Hijo Castle
• Gion Walking Tour

Day 5 - Kyoto/Mt. Fuji/Yamanakako

• Take a bus tour to Mount Fuji.
• Cruise on Lake Yamanakako.
• Stay at hotel in the Hakone Region.

Day 6 - Hakone/Kanagawa/Tokyo

• Transfer to the capital city of Tokyo.
• Visit the Imperial Palace Edo Castle and Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji Temple).
• Shopping at the Nakamise Shopping Area for traditional Japanese food, souvenirs, and novelty items. 

Day 7 - Tokyo

• Sightseeing at Odaiba Seaside Park set at the bank of Tokyou Bay.
• Shopping at Tsukji Market, one of Japan's most iconic places for food and market lovers. 
• Visit Meiji Jingu Shrine and Shibuya Crossing.

Day 8 - Tokyo/Baltimore (BWI)

• Depart from Tokyo.
• Take a connecting flight to Baltimore/Washington International Airport, where you will arrive on the same day.
