As Donald Trump continues to ignore court orders and attack judges, a new
poll shows that the majority of Americans believe presidents should always
obey the courts.
[ [link removed] ]Poll results titled "What Americans think about Trump's conflict twith
he courts" from Reuters/Ipsos, polling 1,030 U.S. adults on March 21-23,
2025. The results to the statement "The president should obey federal
court rulings even if he disagrees with them" shows that 82% of all adults
said "yes", 68% of republicans said "yes", 97% of democrats said "yes",
and 82% of other said "yes".
