Friend --
MAJOR Victory Alert in our fight to protect
Californians.
For years, Gavin Newsom’s administration has been quietly letting
violent sex offenders and pedophiles out
of prison, using a loophole called “Elderly Parole” that was
slipped into a 2020 budget bill behind closed doors. It allows these
criminals to be released early just because they turned 50
years old.
Let’s be honest: 50 isn’t elderly. And violent child molesters
don’t deserve a second chance—they deserve justice.
We’re fighting to stop this insanity. And we’re WINNING!
My Senate Bill 286 will end Elderly Parole for violent sex
offenders and make sure these predators don’t have a ‘get out of jail
free’ card.
This week, after standing on the Capitol steps with over
40 victims and advocates, we scored a huge win: SB 286 unanimously
passed the Senate Public Safety Committee.
Even some liberal Democrats have reversed course and
backed the bill. That’s the power of truth, public pressure, and
standing up for what’s right.
While this was a huge victory, we can't stop now. The bill still
has a long road ahead before it becomes law.
Newsom and the Democrats are always looking for ways to kill good,
commonsense bills behind the scenes. We need to keep the spotlight
on—and keep up the momentum.
But I can’t do it alone. Help
us push this bill forward, rally public support, and right this
wrong once and for all.
If
you believe violent sex offenders shouldn’t get a second chance, chip
in $4 here.
Thank you,
Brian W. Jones
