Please join us for the Pacific Research Institute’s inaugural Milton Friedman Dinner, a roast and toast celebration honoring Mark Cunningham, The New York Post’s Executive Editorial Page Editor, at 6 pm on Wednesday, June 25 at the Union Club of New York City.

We are excited to have as our “roasters” Larry Kudlow, author and host of “Kudlow” on Fox Business and “The Larry Kudlow Show” on WABC Talk Radio; Betsy McCaughey, Ph.D., author, political commentator, constitutional expert, and former Lt. Governor of New York State, and William McGurn, author and member of The Wall Street Journal editorial board.

Mark Cunningham is one of the leading editors in American journalism. With more than two decades of experience in conservative politics and ideas, he has developed a deep understanding of the landscape and has established relationships with reporters, academics, politicians, and professionals across various fields. We are excited to celebrate Mark’s contributions and his commitment to free markets and individual liberty.

Proceeds from the dinner will support PRI’s critical work to advance freedom, opportunity, and limited government. Registration is available online at pacificresearch.org. ([link removed])

Since joining The New York Post in 1997, Mark Cunningham helped lead the newspaper’s responses to high-profile events such as the 2001 "election overtime" and the aftermath of 9/11. Notably, Mark has achieved success in the highly competitive New York media market, where his work, often counter to the region's dominant ideologies, has resonated with a wide audience.
Larry Kudlow is the host of “Kudlow” on Fox Business and “The Larry Kudlow Show” on WABC Talk Radio. He previously served as Director of the National Economic Council under President Donald Trump, where he led the domestic and global economic policy agendas. Throughout the years, Kudlow has hosted several popular television shows with an economic focus, had a successful career on Wall Street, and worked as an associate director in the Office of Management and Budget during the Reagan Administration. He began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a staff economist.
Betsy McCaughey, Ph.D., is a well-known political commentator, constitutional expert, and regular guest on Fox News, CNBC and many national radio programs, including Dennis Miller, Sean Hannity and Lars Larson. In 1993, she read the 1,362-page Clinton health bill, warned the nation what it said and made history. That stunning achievement catapulted her into office as lieutenant governor of New York and made her the go-to person on health legislation. She is one of the most recognized authorities on Obamacare. McCaughey’s columns and magazine articles have won national recognition, including the prestigious National Magazine Award and the H.L. Mencken Award.

William McGurn is a member of The Wall Street Journal editorial board and writes the weekly “Main Street” column for the Journal each Tuesday. Previously he served as Chief Speechwriter for President George W. Bush. He spent more than a decade overseas — in Brussels for The Wall Street Journal/Europe and in Hong Kong with both the Asian Wall Street Journal and the Far Eastern Economic Review. And in the mid-1990s, he was Washington Bureau Chief for National Review.
