Dear John,

The coronavirus pandemic has created an unprecedented fiscal crisis for higher education, and rising calls for taxpayers to bail out our colleges and universities. Should legislators spend money now to save higher education? If so, what reforms should they require from our colleges and universities to make sure that the money is well spent?

Join the National Association of Scholars for a panel discussion on June 10th at 2 pm eastern to find out. The discussion will build on NAS's report Critical Care: Policy Recommendations to Restore American Higher Education after the 2020 Coronavirus Shutdown ([link removed][UNIQID]) ; The James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal's Higher Education After Covid-19 ([link removed][UNIQID]) ; and policy priorities ([link removed][UNIQID]) by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni.
